Kylian Mbappé has embarked on a major philanthropic initiative by funding the construction and renovation of a public primary school in Cameroon, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The French international is supporting the transformation of the Bonendale Public School located in Bonabéri, a community in Cameroon linked to his father’s ancestral roots. 

The project aims to provide improved learning facilities and a better educational environment for pupils in the area.

Mbappé, who was born in France to a Cameroonian father and an Algerian mother, has often spoken about his strong connection to his African heritage. 

The initiative reflects his commitment to giving back to communities connected to his family background.

The project is expected to give the school a modern outlook while enhancing access to quality education for children in the Bonabéri community.

The gesture has been widely praised as a significant contribution to grassroots development and education in Cameroon, further highlighting Mbappé’s dedication to social impact beyond football.
