NBBF Women’s Basketball Final 8 Set For September 16

The organisers of the 2025 NBBF Women’s Basketball League have confirmed new dates for the Final 8 tournament, which will be staged at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to the revised schedule, participating teams will arrive in Lagos on Monday, September 15.

The competition will run from Tuesday, September 16 to Saturday, September 20, with teams departing on Sunday, September 21.

In a statement signed by the league’s chairperson, Perpetual Clement, she congratulated all the qualified teams while reaffirming the federation’s commitment to a successful championship.

Eight teams secured their spots in the finals, with four each advancing from the Atlantic and Savannah Conferences.

Defending champions MFM, First Bank Basketball Club, Bayelsa Blue Whales, and Dolphins Basketball Club will represent the Atlantic Conference.

From the Savannah Conference, Air Warriors, Royal Aces, Titans, and Nigeria Customs Basketball Club complete the lineup for the title showdown in Lagos.
