NFF President Congratulates Yari on Appointment as Tinubu Campaign DG

The President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau (Kigono Gusau), has congratulated Senator Abdul Aziz Abubakar Yari (Marafan Sokoto) on his appointment as Director-General of the campaign organisation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

In a congratulatory message, Alhaji Gusau described Senator Yari as a complete gentleman, confident leader and experienced politician whose dedication and commitment to public service and political mobilisation have contributed significantly to the development of Zamfara State and Nigeria.

The NFF president expressed confidence in Yari’s ability to successfully discharge the responsibility entrusted to him by President Tinubu, citing his hard work, commitment and proven leadership experience.

“As my brother and leader, I am confident, without any fear of contradiction, that he is equal to the task assigned to him by Mr President. By the special grace of God, he will deliver, given his dedication, hard work and commitment to every responsibility entrusted to him,” Gusau said.

He noted that Yari’s leadership qualities enabled him to make significant contributions to the development of Zamfara State during his tenure as governor.

Gusau further expressed optimism that, as Director-General of President Tinubu’s re-election campaign, Yari would deploy his wealth of political experience and extensive relationships across Nigeria’s geopolitical zones to achieve the objectives of the campaign.

“Apparently, as he embarks on this gigantic but important assignment, I am confident that he will make judicious use of his vast experience towards realising the set objectives nationwide, particularly in view of his cordial and harmonious working relationships with people across the geographical zones of our dear country, Nigeria,” he said.

The NFF president wished Senator Yari success in his new role and prayed that Almighty God would grant him the wisdom, strength and guidance required to effectively discharge his responsibilities.
