Sampson Adedeji
Bayelsa United goalkeeper Clinton Ezekiel has acknowledged the difficulty of playing in Ibadan but revealed that his team approached the game with a winning mindset, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Prosperity Boys stunned the Oluyole Warriors with a 1-0 victory at the Lekan Salami Stadium, securing all three points on the road.
“Ibadan is a very tough place to visit, but we came determined to win and with the belief that we could take all three points,” Ezekiel said.
“As the game progressed, our focus was on getting the goal, and once we did, we knew victory was within our grasp,” he added.
Bayelsa United will now aim to build on this away success as the NPFL enters Matchday 2 this weekend.
