NPFL: Kano State Governor Donates Buses To Kano Pillars

Kano State Governor, His Excellency Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has extended his support to Kano Pillars Football Club with the donation of three brand-new buses a Marcopolo, Hummer, and Sharon ahead of the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, BSNSports.com.ng reports

The gesture is part of the state government’s renewed commitment to the development of sports and the improvement of logistics for the Sai Masu Gida boys.

Kano Pillars General Manager, Ahmed Musa (MON, OON), who received the vehicles on behalf of the club, expressed deep appreciation to the governor, describing the donation as a milestone that will greatly ease the team’s transportation challenges and boost morale.

The four-time NPFL champions recently appointed Mohammed Babaganaru as their new head coach on Tuesday as they continue their push to move up the standings. 

Pillars are currently placed 18th on the NPFL table.
