NPFL: Mangut Hails Nasarawa United’s Game Plan Against Enyimba

Nasarawa United head coach, Mbwais Mangut, has expressed satisfaction with his team’s tactical approach in their encounter with Enyimba International, insisting the plan worked exactly as intended, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former Plateau United manager said the outcome was no surprise to him, stressing that he had predicted Enyimba would be under more pressure as the home side.

“Before we came here, I told my players to remain calm and composed. I reminded them that the pressure was on Enyimba, not us, since they were at home and desperately needed the three points,” Mangut said.

“Our strategy worked perfectly, and ultimately we left with a valuable point.”

The coach added that his team is gradually improving with each outing and promised to build on the performance when they face Wikki Tourists FC in their next fixture.
