NPFL: Nasarawa United Started Poorly Against Ikorodu City — Mangut

Nasarawa United head coach, Mbwas Mangut, has admitted that his team’s slow start cost them in their 2-0 defeat to Ikorodu City, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The league leaders fell to the Lagos-based side in their Matchday 9 fixture, ending their impressive run in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

Speaking after the game, Mangut acknowledged that his side failed to settle early but improved after halftime.

“We started poorly, but we got into the game in the second half after making some changes,” he said.

“Unfortunately, we couldn’t convert our chances. Like I always say, the league is a marathon, and we’ll definitely bounce back.”
