Nigeria Premier Football League champions, Remo Stars, have debunked rumours circulating in certain sections of the media that their head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, has resigned, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Speculations had surfaced earlier in the week suggesting that Ogunmodede, who also serves as an assistant coach with the Super Eagles, had decided to step down from his role with the Sky Blue Stars.

However, the club took to its official social media platforms on Wednesday afternoon to refute the claims, describing them as baseless and misleading.

According to the statement, the club affirmed that Ogunmodede remains fully committed to his duties and continues to lead the team as they prepare for upcoming NPFL fixtures.
