NPFL: Warri Wolves Out To Shock Bendel Insurance — Austin

Warri Wolves head coach, Johnny Austin, has declared that his side is fully prepared to cause an upset when they face Bendel Insurance in their next Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) encounter, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Seasiders will battle the Benin Arsenals in a Matchday 11 fixture at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, this weekend. Wolves head into the game in fine form, having defeated Bayelsa United 2-0 in their last outing a result that extended their unbeaten run to four matches.

Speaking after the victory in Ozoro, Austin expressed confidence in his team’s ability to keep improving as the season progresses.

“We are taking every game one step at a time. Our focus now is on Bendel Insurance, and we are going to Benin with the mindset of securing all three points if possible,” he said.

Warri Wolves currently sit fourth on the NPFL log with 17 points from 10 matches.
