NPFL: Wikki Tourists Appoint Evans Ogenyi As New Technical Adviser

Nigeria Premier Football League side Wikki Tourists F.C. are set to appoint Coach Evans Ogenyi as their new Technical Adviser as the club looks to revive its struggling campaign, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ogenyi will take over the role following the resignation of former Technical Adviser Abdu Maikaba, who stepped down from the position last month.

The experienced tactician brings a wealth of experience to the Bauchi-based club, having previously managed Kano Pillars F.C.. He also served as an assistant coach at Rivers United F.C. during his coaching career.

His appointment comes at a crucial time for Wikki Tourists, who have struggled for form in the ongoing Nigeria Premier Football League season. The club has recorded only two wins in their last 15 matches.

The poor run of results has left the Bauchi Elephants languishing in 16th position on the league table with 32 points from 28 matches, placing them in a precarious position as the season enters its decisive stage.

The management of Wikki Tourists will be hoping that Ogenyi’s arrival can help stabilize the team and steer them away from the relegation zone before the end of the campaign.
