The Female YellowGreens recorded their first victory at the Kwibuka T20 Tournament 2026 with a commanding 52-run win over Malawi Women in an impressive all-round performance, BSNSports.com.ng reports

Nigeria's women cricket team produced a determined display with both bat and ball to secure the emphatic victory.

Jessica Bieni anchored the innings with an unbeaten 25 runs, helping the Female YellowGreens post a competitive total against their East African opponents.

In response, Malawi Women struggled to cope with Nigeria's disciplined bowling attack and were eventually bowled out for just 46 runs.

Shola Adekunle emerged as the star performer with the ball, claiming three crucial wickets to put Malawi under immense pressure.

Team captain Favour Eseigbe then wrapped up the innings in style, taking two wickets in the space of just three deliveries to seal Nigeria's first win of the tournament.

The victory provides a significant boost for the Female YellowGreens as they continue their campaign at the Kwibuka T20 Tournament 2026, with the team hoping to build on the confidence gained from the comprehensive triumph over Malawi Women.
