Nigeria Misses Mixed 4x400m Final At World U20 Championships

Team Nigeria's campaign at the World U20 Championships in Eugene began with disappointment after the mixed 4x400m relay team failed to qualify for the final, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian quartet of Dominion Udoh, Jecinta Lawrence, Perfect Faye, and Faith Ezechukwu finished sixth in their heat with a time of 3:26.35.

Only the top three teams from each heat secured automatic qualification for the final, leaving Nigeria out of the medal race in the event.

Despite the setback, Team Nigeria will be looking to bounce back in the remaining events as the championships continue in Eugene.
