‎Nigeria has unveiled its final list of players selected to represent the country at the 2026 African Women’s Senior Volleyball Championship in Kenya, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The championship is expected to bring together some of the continent’s leading women’s volleyball teams, with Nigeria set to compete for honours on the continental stage. ‎ ‎ ‎

The Nigerian team will be hoping to put up a strong performance in Kenya and improve the country’s standing in African women’s volleyball. ‎ ‎ ‎

The final squad was released following preparations by the national team’s technical crew ahead of the tournament. ‎ ‎ ‎Nigeria’s participation in the championship is part of its continued efforts to develop and strengthen the women’s national volleyball programme. ‎ ‎ ‎

The competition in Kenya is expected to provide the Nigerian players with valuable international experience as they face some of Africa’s strongest volleyball nations. ‎
