Nigeria Unveils U-18 Boys, Girls Camp Squads For 2026 FIBA AfroBasket

The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has announced the camp invite lists for the country's Under-18 boys' and girls' national teams ahead of the 2026 FIBA U-18 AfroBasket Championship, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The invited players are expected to report to camp as preparations intensify for the continental tournament, which is scheduled to take place from August 4 to 15, 2026.

The camping exercise will provide the coaching crews with the opportunity to assess the invited players and trim the squads ahead of the championship, where Nigeria will compete against some of Africa's top emerging basketball talents.

The FIBA U-18 AfroBasket serves as Africa's premier youth basketball competition and also offers participating teams the chance to showcase the next generation of stars on the continental stage.

Nigeria will be aiming for strong performances in both the boys' and girls' categories as they seek to challenge for honours when the tournament tips off next month.
