The Round of 16 fixtures for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Morocco 2025 have been officially confirmed following the conclusion of the group stage on Saturday, October 25.

After two weeks of intense and entertaining group-stage action, BSNSports.com.ng reports, 

Sixteen teams have advanced to the knockout phase, setting up several mouth-watering encounters as the quest for global youth glory continues.

Nigeria to Face Italy in Knockout Clash

One of Africa’s three remaining representatives, Nigeria’s Flamingos, will take on Italy in one of the standout fixtures of the Round of 16.

The match is scheduled for Tuesday, October 28, at 8:00 p.m. (WAT) in Rabat, and it promises to be a thrilling contest as both teams battle for a place in the quarter-finals.

Nigeria, who finished third in their group following a 4-0 bashing of Samoa in their last group game on Saturday, will be aiming to better their 2022 campaign, where they reached the semi-finals and claimed bronze. 

Italy, meanwhile, advanced from a competitive group that featured Brazil and Japan, setting the stage for a high-quality contest between two disciplined sides.
