Nigeria’s U17 women’s team, the Flamingos, delivered another commanding performance with a resounding 7–0 victory over Nazareth Queens in a recent camp fixture, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Flamingos set the tone early, with Wuraola Deborah Olayiwola opening the scoring in the 8th minute. Oluebube Jessica Umejiaku doubled the lead in the 34th minute, ensuring the team went into halftime with a comfortable 2–0 advantage.

The second half saw an even more dominant display, as the team’s attacking strength came to the fore. Harmony Chidi netted twice in quick succession, scoring in the 48th and 54th minutes to extend the lead. Oluwakemi Adegbuyi added a fifth from the penalty spot in the 59th minute, before Islamiyat Oluwatosin Yusuf made it six just three minutes later. Favour Enodumwenben capped off the emphatic win with a goal in the 67th minute.

The result marks back-to-back high-scoring victories for the Flamingos, following their 6–0 triumph over Generation Next, underlining the team’s growing momentum and attacking efficiency.

With preparations intensifying, the Flamingos appear to be building strong form ahead of their upcoming 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifying fixtures against Guinea.
