Nigerian midfielder Onuche Ogbelu has officially joined Libyan powerhouse Al Ittihad on a permanent transfer from Tunisian champions ES Tunis, the clubs have confirmed, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The talented young Nigerian has signed a three-year contract with the Libyan side, with all paperwork finalized, marking a significant step in his burgeoning club career.

Ogbelu departs ES Tunis after an impressive spell with the North African giants, during which he established himself as one of the most promising Nigerian talents plying their trade on the continent.

He was also a key member of the ES Tunis squad that represented Africa at the FIFA Club World Cup held in the United States.

The midfielder is set to link up with his new teammates immediately to begin training and integration into the squad.

This move comes as a boost for Libyan football, with Al Ittihad securing a dynamic midfielder capable of making an immediate impact.
