Super Eagles star striker Victor Osimhen rescued Galatasaray and then made history on Friday night, becoming the first player to score the first goal and a brace in the new Turkish Super Lig season, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Galatasaray and Arca Çorum FK faced off in the opening match of the Trendyol Süper Lig at RAMS Park, which ended in a 2-2 draw.

The first half ended 0-0, but Galatasaray took the lead in the 53rd minute with a goal from Osimhen.
