Owerri To Host 2026/27 Nigeria National League AGM

The Nigeria National League (NNL) will hold its 2026/2027 Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Owerri, Imo State, on Friday, August 21, 2026, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 17th edition of the AGM will be hosted by the Imo State Government following the approval of hosting rights by Governor Hope Uzodimma.

All 36 NNL clubs are expected to arrive in Owerri between August 20 and 22 for the annual gathering, which will bring together key stakeholders ahead of the new campaign.

Top officials of the Nigeria Football Federation, including President Ibrahim Musa Gusau, are also expected to attend the meeting.

The AGM will focus on key issues ahead of the 2026/2027 season, including the league's roadmap, club licensing requirements, and proposed amendments to the NNL rules and regulations.
