Super Falcons defender Ashleigh Plumptre has cautioned fans and members of the public against a fake Facebook account operating in her name, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Saudi Arabia-based defender made the clarification through a statement posted on her official X account, where she denied any affiliation with the Facebook profile.

Plumptre urged supporters and the general public to disregard the account, stressing that it is not owned, managed, or authorized by her.

The former Leicester City defender also advised fans to rely only on her verified social media platforms for authentic information and updates regarding her career and personal activities.
