The race for the 2026 President Federation Cup women's title reaches a decisive stage on Wednesday as four teams battle for places in the final scheduled for July 11 in Asaba, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

At the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, Lagos-based FC Robo Queens will face Heartland Queens of Owerri in the first semi-final encounter, with kick-off set for 4 p.m.

Robo Queens head into the clash with growing confidence after a remarkable run that saw them eliminate Rangers Women, Remo Stars Ladies, and seven-time champions Rivers Angels. Their quarter-final victory over Rivers Angels was widely regarded as one of the biggest upsets of the competition, establishing the Lagos side as strong contenders for the title.

Heartland Queens, however, have also impressed on their journey to the last four. The Owerri side overcame Dragon Fury Ladies, Ahudiyannem Queens, and Ibom Angels to book their place in the semi-finals and will be determined to continue their impressive run.

In the second semi-final, Sunshine Queens of Akure will take on perennial contenders Nasarawa Amazons at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu, with the match also scheduled for a 4 p.m. kick-off.

Nasarawa Amazons remain one of the most consistent teams in Nigerian women's football and have once again demonstrated their resilience in this year's competition. The Lafia-based side defeated Osklean FC in the Round of 32 before surviving penalty shootout victories against FC Naija Ratels and Edo Queens to secure a place in the semi-finals.

Sunshine Queens have also enjoyed an impressive campaign, overcoming Solo Wonders in the Round of 32 before recording victories against Plateau United Queens and Confluence Queens to reach the last four.

With a place in the final at stake, both semi-final fixtures are expected to deliver intense competition as the remaining teams chase Federation Cup glory.
