President Federation Cup Round Of 64 Fixtures Get Venue And Match Official Adjustments

The Nigeria Football Federation has officially released the list of match officials for the Round of 64 fixtures in the 2026 President Federation Cup, with matches scheduled to take place across various centres in the country, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

In a circular made available to BSN Sports, dated May 15, 2026, and signed by the Director of Competition, Ruth David, the federation also announced amendments to some match venues, dates, and kickoff times for the men’s competition.

Among the notable fixtures, Kwara United FC will face Sporting Supreme FC U-19 in Ayangba, Kogi State, with Yahaya Abubakar appointed as referee, while Katsina United FC take on Sapele Lions FC at the Area 3 pitch in Abuja under the supervision of referee Awaji Simon.

Other high-profile ties include Bendel Insurance FC against Katsina United Junior in Abuja, Akwa United FC versus Wilbros FC in Aba, and Rivers United FC facing G12 FC in Benin.

Former champions Rangers International FC are scheduled to play Godswill Akpabio FC in Aba, while Enyimba International FC will battle El-Shama FC in Abuja.

The federation also confirmed appointments for assistant referees and fourth officials for all fixtures, with match venues spread across Abuja, Makurdi, Ilorin, Jos, Kaduna, Minna, Aba, Benin, and other host cities.

State Football Associations were directed to notify participating teams accordingly, while host FAs were advised to make the necessary arrangements for the successful conduct of the matches.

The President Federation Cup remains Nigeria’s oldest domestic football competition and continues to provide a platform for professional clubs and emerging grassroots teams to compete on the national stage.
