 The iconic Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium has been officially selected to host the second leg of the 2026 CAF Champions League final, further cementing its status as one of Africa’s top football venues, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The announcement comes as the stadium, which recently completed a major redevelopment, continues to attract high-profile continental events. 

It previously hosted the final of the 2025 TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) and is now set to stage Africa’s premier club competition decider in its debut season post-renovation.

This choice represents a strong vote of confidence from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Morocco’s infrastructure. 

The modernized Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium, with its enhanced facilities and vibrant atmosphere, is expected to deliver a world-class stage for the continent’s biggest club showdown.

The 2025/26 CAF Champions League final is scheduled as a two-legged tie:

First leg: 15 May 2026 at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria, South Africa.

Second leg: 24 May 2026 at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco.

The finalists will be determined from the ongoing semi-finals, with AS FAR (Rabat) having advanced to the final after defeating RS Berkane, while the other semi-final involves Mamelodi Sundowns and Esperance de Tunis.
