Nigeria’s Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala announced her arrival in Saudi Arabia in style, scoring on her debut as Al Hilal SC edged Al Qadasiah 4-3 in a thrilling Saudi Arabia Women’s Premier League clash on Friday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Oshoala, who completed a summer switch from National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) outfit Bay FC, wasted no time making an impact.

The six-time African Women’s Footballer of the Year found the back of the net midway through the first half to put Al Hilal ahead in a tightly contested encounter.

The match lived up to its billing, with both sides exchanging goals in an end-to-end affair.

Al Hilal’s attacking trio, led by Oshoala, proved decisive as they maintained their unbeaten start to the season.

Her arrival is seen as a major boost for women’s football in Saudi Arabia, as the league continues to attract top international talents.

Oshoala boasts a glittering career, having won multiple UEFA Women’s Champions League titles and league trophies with Barcelona and representing Nigeria at several Women’s World Cups.

Al Hilal will look to build on this result when they face Al Nassr Women in their next league outing, with Oshoala expected to play a key role in their quest for silverware this season.
