Serge Obassa Completes Move To Kano Pillars

Benin Republic international goalkeeper Serge Obassa has completed a move to Nigeria Premier Football League side Kano Pillars after leaving reigning champions Remo Stars, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Obassa, who played a key role in Remo Stars' title-winning campaign, has signed a one-year contract with the Sai Masu Gida ahead of the 2026/27 NPFL season.

The experienced shot-stopper remains in the Nigerian top flight as he begins a new chapter in his career with Kano Pillars, bringing his wealth of experience to the Kano-based club.

The move sees the Benin international switch from Ikenne to Kano after helping Remo Stars secure the league title, with Pillars hoping his arrival will strengthen their squad for the new campaign.
