Super Eagles B Set to Kick Off CHAN Training Camp This Weekend

The home-based Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to resume camping in Ogun state this weekend as preparations begin in earnest for the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN), BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The coaching crew led Eric Chelle has already arrived in the capital, with the official list of invited players expected to be released over the weekend. The camp will mark the start of intensive training ahead of the continental tournament.
Nigeria secured qualification for the 2025 CHAN after edging out regional rivals Ghana, earning a return to the tournament following three consecutive absences.
Drawn into Group D, the Super Eagles will face formidable opponents including Congo, Senegal, and Sudan. Nigeria’s opening match will be against Senegal on August 5.
The 2025 CHAN tournament, jointly hosted by Tanzania, Kenya, and Morocco, will kick off on August 2. Hosts Tanzania will open the competition against Burkina Faso. On August 3, Kenya will play DR Congo, while Morocco will face Angola and Madagascar take on Mauritania.
