Nigerian international Umar Sadiq is reportedly on his way out of Spanish La Liga club Real Sociedad when the January transfer window opens, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to transfer expert Ekrem Konur, the 28-year-old striker’s future at the Basque club looks uncertain as he struggles for regular playing time this season.

Despite being under contract with Sociedad until 2028, Sadiq could be allowed to leave due to his limited minutes and relatively high wages.

The report adds that several Spanish clubs, including Sevilla FC, Valencia, Getafe, and Elche, have shown interest in signing the Super Eagles forward.

Sadiq joined Real Sociedad in 2022 but has found it difficult to cement a starting role following a long-term injury.

With competition for attacking spots at the club intensifying, a move in January appears to be a strong possibility as he seeks more game time ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
