Super Eagles Winger Debuts In Bulgarian League

Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger Samuel Kalu announced his arrival in the Bulgarian Parva Liga in style, registering an assist on his first league start for Botev Plovdiv in their hard-fought 2-1 victory over Dobrudzha on Saturday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 28-year-old, who recently joined the Bulgarian side, was instrumental in Botev’s attacking play, providing the decisive assist that sealed the win.

Kalu started alongside his Nigerian compatriot Emmanuel Ojo (18, defensive midfielder) and Irish-Nigerian winger Armstrong Oko-Flex, forming a vibrant trio that dominated the flanks and midfield.

Before his move to Bulgaria, Kalu’s career spanned some of Europe’s top leagues, having featured in France, England, and Switzerland.

His impressive debut performance has already drawn attention from fans and pundits alike, with many tipping him to play a key role in Botev Plovdiv’s campaign this season.
