Tobi Amusan To Compete In National Open Athletics Championship

World Record Holder in Women's 100m Hurdles Tobi Amusan will be running 100m flat at the National Open Athletics Championship, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

There will be a lot of excitement from Friday 1st of August to Sunday 3rd August 2025, in the National Open Athletics Championship in Yabatech Sports Complex in Lagos State. 

The trials is aimed at selecting and preparing athletes that will represent Team Nigeria at the CAA Region 2 African Senior Athletics Championship in Ghana, World Athletics Championship in Tokyo, Japan, Islamic Game as well as to improve National Record.

Athletes are expected to arrive on July 31, with competition held across three days, and departure scheduled for August 4.

Other top stars expected at the trials include long jumper Ese Brume, Tima Godbless, and several foreign-based athletes will also compete.
