Transfer: Super Eagles Forward Set For Turkey Return
Sampson Adedeji
Nigerian forward Emmanuel Dennis is on the verge of a return to the Turkish Süper Lig this summer, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.
The Super Eagles attacker is currently in advanced talks with Antalyaspor over a potential two- or three-year deal, with negotiations expected to be finalized before the close of the Turkish transfer window.
Dennis, who previously featured for Club Brugge in Belgium and Istanbul Basaksehir in Turkey, has been without a club since leaving Blackburn Rovers, where his loan spell proved largely underwhelming.
Last season, the 26-year-old managed just six appearances for Blackburn’s first team, registering a single assist, before being relegated to the reserves.
His contract with Nottingham Forest officially expired on August 31 following his loan return.
A fresh start in Turkey now looks likely, as Dennis seeks to revive his career and re-establish himself as a consistent performer ahead of the new season.
