Nigeria’s D’Tigress guard, Ezinne Kalu, has sealed a move to Women’s Chinese Basketball Association (WCBA) side Wuhan Shengfan ahead of the 2025/26 season, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The four-time FIBA Women’s AfroBasket champion continues her career in China after a standout season with Zhejiang, where she averaged 21.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 2.5 steals across 33 appearances in the 2024/25 campaign.

Kalu, 33, was instrumental in helping Nigeria claim a fifth consecutive AfroBasket title in the Ivory Coast, extending the team’s continental dominance to seven championships.

The triumph also secured D’Tigress a spot at the 2026 FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup.

At Wuhan, Kalu is expected to bring her wealth of experience, leadership, and scoring ability as the club pushes for domestic glory in the upcoming season.
