Transfer Update: Italian Giant Signs Super Eagles Defender

Newly promoted Italian Serie A side Frosinone have officially completed the signing of Super Eagles defender Kevin Akpoguma from Bundesliga club TSG Hoffenheim, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The club confirmed the arrival of the Nigerian international in an official statement, announcing that the experienced centre-back has signed a contract that will keep him at the Stadio Benito Stirpe until June 30, 2028.
Frosinone Calcio announces that it has secured the sporting services of Kevin Akpoguma. The defender, born in 1995, will wear the yellow and blue jersey until June 30, 2028, the statement read.
Akpoguma arrives in Italy after spending several seasons with Hoffenheim, where he established himself as one of the club's most reliable defenders in the German Bundesliga.
The Super Eagles star is expected to add experience and defensive solidity to Frosinone's squad as the newly promoted side prepares for the challenges of the 2026/27 Serie A campaign.
Having featured regularly in one of Europe's top leagues, Akpoguma will be hoping to play a key role in helping Frosinone secure their top-flight status and enjoy a successful return to the Italian elite.
