Transfer Update: Super Eagles Forward Set To Join Le Havre

Super Eagles striker Josh Maja is on the verge of completing a move to French Ligue 1 club Le Havre following the expiration of his contract with English side West Bromwich Albion, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The 27-year-old forward is currently a free agent after leaving the Championship club at the end of the 2025/26 season.

Maja is no stranger to French football, having previously featured for Bordeaux, where he impressed with a number of important goals during his time in Ligue 1. 

The proposed move to Le Havre would mark a return to France for the Nigerian international as he looks to revive his career in the French top flight.

An official announcement from the club is expected once the remaining details of the deal are finalised.
