Turkish Super Lig: Onuachu Fires Trabzonspor Past Rizespor

Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu continued his fine scoring form as Trabzonspor secured a hard-fought 2-1 away victory over Rizespor on Saturday, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The visitors made a flying start to the encounter, taking the lead in just the 2nd minute through Felix Da Si, who calmly finished off a swift attacking move.

Onuachu doubled Trabzonspor’s advantage shortly after, capping off another brilliant passage of play to make it 2-0, putting the hosts under early pressure.

Rizespor fought back and pulled one goal back through Jesurun in the 27th minute, but Trabzonspor held firm to secure all three points on the road.

The victory was another strong statement from the Nigerian forward, who has now taken his season tally to six goals, reaffirming his status as one of the most in-form strikers in the Turkish Super Lig.
