Turkish Super Lig: Onuachu Hails Trabzonspor Fans

Nigeria’s Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu, has expressed his gratitude to Trabzonspor fans after inspiring the club to victory on Monday night, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former champions edged Kocaelispor 1-0, with Onuachu netting the decisive goal.

The towering forward, who rejoined Trabzonspor permanently this summer from English Championship side Southampton, was full of praise for the supporters.

“A Monday evening, a match starting at 9:30 pm, and we played in an almost full stadium,” he said.

“I thanked the fans over and over again it’s a great feeling to be back in Trabzon.”

Onuachu had an impressive first spell at the club, scoring 15 goals in 21 appearances.
