U18 Afrobasket Championship: Junior D’Tigress Thrash Cameroon, Reach Semifnals

Nigeria’s Junior D’Tigress booked their place in the semi-finals of the U18 Afrobasket Championship after a dominant 75-45 victory over Cameroon in the quarter-final, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian side produced an impressive all-round performance to overwhelm Cameroon and secure a comfortable 30-point victory.

Favour Joy Anari led the charge with 16 points and eight assists, while Zainab Adelaja contributed 13 points.

Precious Grace Aladelua also made her presence felt under the basket, pulling down 10 rebounds as Nigeria controlled the boards and maintained their dominance throughout the encounter.

The victory sends the Junior D’Tigress into the semi-finals, where they will continue their quest for the continental title.
