Unity Cup: Wrexham Celebrates Okonkwo’s Clean Sheet On Super Eagles Debut

English Championship side Wrexham AFC has celebrated goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo following his impressive debut for the Nigeria national football team in the Unity Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Okonkwo was in goal as the Super Eagles defeated Zimbabwe national football team 2-0 in the semi-final clash.

The young goalkeeper produced a composed performance and kept a clean sheet in his first appearance for Nigeria.

Reacting to the performance, Wrexham praised the shot-stopper on the club’s social media handle.

“A clean sheet for Arthur Okonkwo on Super Eagles debut 👏”

Okonkwo is now expected to retain his place in goal for Nigeria in the final of the Unity Cup.
