Volleyball: Customs Names Abdulquadri Jaiyeola Alternate Captain

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has appointed Abdulquadri Jaiyeola as the alternate captain of its men's volleyball team ahead of the second phase of the 2026 CGC Volleyball Premier League, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Jaiyeola's appointment is part of the team's preparations for the next stage of the league as the former champions aim to strengthen their leadership group and maintain a strong challenge for the title.

The experienced player is expected to support the team captain on and off the court while providing leadership during matches throughout the second phase of the competition.

The Nigeria Customs men's volleyball team will be looking to build on its performances from the opening phase when the 2026 CGC Volleyball Premier League resumes.
