W35 Wichita Open: Oyinlomo Quadre Claims First WTA Point Of The Year

Nigerian tennis star Oyinlomo Quadre has secured her first WTA point of the year after a hard-fought comeback victory over Kaya Moe at the W35 Wichita Open, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former Nigerian number one rallied from a set down to defeat the American 4-6, 6-2, 7-6(4) and book her place in the next round of the competition.

Quadre showed great resilience throughout the encounter, recovering after losing the opening set before dominating the second set to force a decisive third set.

In a tense final set tie-break, the Nigerian held her nerve to seal an impressive comeback win and continue her campaign in Wichita.
