WAFCON 2024: Super Falcons Hit Five Past Zambia, Zoom Into Semis

Nigeria's Super Falcons demolished Zambia 5-0 to book a place in the semi-finals of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Justin Madugu led side began the game on blistering note with an opener from Osinachi Ohale before Esther Okoronkwo doubled the lead. 

Just before the break, Chinwedu Ihezuo extended the lead for the nine-time champions. 

At the restart, the Super Falcons got two goals from Tosin Demehin and a late goal from, Ijamilusi Folashade to cap off a one-sided encounter.

Nigeria will await the outcome of the game between Cup holders South Africa or perhaps the exciting Senegalese ladies in Tuesday’s semi finals.
