WAFCON 2026: Cameroon Resume Training Camp Ahead Of Morocco Tournament

The Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon have resumed preparations ahead of the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) scheduled to take place in Morocco, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

With just a few weeks remaining before the start of the continental showpiece, the Cameroonian women's national team has opened camp as they intensify efforts to be in top shape for the competition.

The 2026 WAFCON will run from July 26 to August 16, with Africa's top women's national teams set to battle for continental glory.

Cameroon have been drawn in Group D, where they will face tough opposition from Ghana, Mali and Cabo Verde in the group stage.

The Lionesses will be aiming to make a strong impression in Morocco as they seek to challenge for the prestigious continental title.
