WAFCON 2026 Dates Announced

Just weeks after the conclusion of the 2024 edition, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially announced the dates for the next Women's Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria clinched the 2024 title in Morocco with a thrilling 3-2 victory over the hosts. CAF confirmed that the 14th edition of the tournament will also be staged in Morocco, running from March 17 to April 3, 2026.

The final round of qualifiers is scheduled for October 2025, with the Falcons set to face Benin.

Additionally, the semi-finalists of the 2026 edition will secure automatic qualification for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
