WAFU B CAFWCLQ: Edo Queens Open Campaign Against AS GNN As Fixtures Are Released

Nigeria champions Edo Queens will begin their 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League qualifying campaign against AS GNN of Niger after WAFU B released the fixtures for the zonal qualifiers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Edo Queens will face AS GNN on Sunday, August 23, in their opening Group-stage encounter in Burkina Faso.

The Nigerian champions will subsequently take on ASEC Mimosas of Côte d’Ivoire and Amperm Dakoa in their remaining group matches as they bid to secure qualification for the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League.

The WAFU B qualifying tournament is scheduled to run from August 23 to 30, 2026, in Burkina Faso.

Edo Queens will be aiming to make a strong start to the competition and secure a place in the next stage of the continental championship.
