WAFU B CAFWCLQ: Edo Queens Opponent Ampem Darkoa Arrives Burkina Faso

Ghanaian champions Ampem Darkoa have arrived in Burkina Faso ahead of the 2026 WAFU B CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifiers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Ghanaian side departed Accra on Thursday morning for the crucial regional qualifiers, which will determine the teams that progress in the race for a place in the CAF Women’s Champions League.
Ampem Darkoa have been drawn in the same group with Nigeria’s champions Edo Queens, ASEC Mimosas of Côte d’Ivoire and AS GNN of Niger.
The Ghanaian champions will be aiming for a strong start to their campaign as they compete against some of the leading women’s clubs in the WAFU B zone.
Edo Queens, meanwhile, will be looking to secure qualification from the group and continue their quest to represent the region at the CAF Women’s Champions League.
The 2026 WAFU B qualifying tournament is expected to feature intense competition among the participating clubs, with the teams battling for regional supremacy and a place in the continental competition.
