WAFU B Champions League Qualifier: Bayelsa Queens Outclass ASKO

Bayelsa Queens cruised to a 3-0 victory over ASKO of Togo in their second Group B fixture at the 2025 WAFU B Women’s Champions League in Yamoussoukro on Wednesday night, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

After a goalless first half in which the Nigerian champions squandered several chances, the breakthrough came just two minutes into the second half when ASKO defender Oumou Bani turned the ball into her own net.

Alaba Olabiyi doubled the advantage in the 53rd minute before Shakirat Moshood sealed the win with a fine strike 10 minutes from time her second goal of the tournament. 

The victory keeps the Prosperity Girls in a strong position as they prepare to face Sam Nelly of Benin Republic in their final group game on Saturday.
