WAFU B Champions League Qualifier: Bayelsa Queens To Know Opponents In August

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced a new date for the draw of the WAFU B Women’s Champions League qualifiers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria’s Bayelsa Queens, who secured qualification after winning the Nigeria Women’s Football League last season, will discover their opponents on August 5, following CAF’s decision to shift the draw initially scheduled for July 29.

The competition is set to kick off four days later, with teams from across the WAFU B region battling for a place in the CAF Women’s Champions League.

Defending champions Edo Queens will not participate this year after failing to retain their league title.
