Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets forward, George Chimaobi Agha, was named Man of the Match after delivering a stellar performance in the team’s emphatic 4–1 victory over Benin Republic at the ongoing WAFU-B U-17 Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Agha proved decisive in the encounter, showcasing his attacking prowess and clinical finishing to inspire Nigeria to their second win of the tournament.

His relentless runs, sharp movements, and ability to capitalize on scoring chances kept the Benin defence under constant pressure.

The young striker not only found the back of the net but also played a key role in linking up play and creating opportunities for his teammates, underlining why he is regarded as one of the most exciting prospects in the Golden Eaglets setup.

His performance was duly recognized by the organizers, who handed him the Man of the Match award after the final whistle.

With the victory, the Golden Eaglets have boosted their chances of progressing further in the competition as they continue their quest for glory in the WAFU-B U-17 championship, which also serves as a qualifier for the next U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
