WAFU B U17: Golden Eaglets Set To Leave For Ivory Coast On Wednesday

Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets will jet out of the country on Wednesday for Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire, where they will compete in the 2025 WAFU B U-17 Boys’ Tournament, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Coach Manu Garba’s side is scheduled to depart via the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

The five-time world champions have been drawn in Group B, alongside Benin Republic and Burkina Faso, while hosts Côte d’Ivoire headline Group A with Ghana, Togo, and Niger Republic.

The Eaglets will kick off their campaign against Benin Republic on Wednesday, September 24. All matches are slated for the Stade du Lycée Scientifique in Yamoussoukro, a natural-turf facility built for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
