WAFU B U20: Flying Eagles Trio Named In Team Of The Tournament

Three Nigeria Flying Eagles players Adeleke, Lucky and Alfred have been named in the official Team of the Tournament following the conclusion of the WAFU B U20 Championship, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

Despite Nigeria’s failure to lift the title, the trio impressed throughout the competition and earned recognition from the Technical Study Group (TSG) for their performances.

The tournament ended after an exciting campaign that showcased some of the region’s brightest emerging talents.

The TSG unveiled the official Team of the Tournament in a 4-4-2 formation, with Burkina Faso head coach Oscar Barro named as coach after leading his side to the WAFU B U20 title.

According to the TSG, the selected players distinguished themselves through their consistency, commitment and impact during crucial moments of the competition.

The inclusion of Adeleke, Lucky and Alfred underlines the quality within the Flying Eagles squad, despite the team falling short of securing the championship.
