Women's African Basketball League Suffers Postponement

The Women’s Basketball League Africa Qualifiers, initially scheduled to tip off tomorrow in Nairobi, have been postponed, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

According to sources, the competition will now commence on Sunday, November 9, 2025, instead of the earlier date.

Although the organizers have yet to issue an official statement regarding the reason for the delay, sources close to the event suggest logistical challenges may have influenced the decision.

The tournament, which brings together some of the continent’s top women’s basketball clubs, serves as a key qualifying event for the Women’s Basketball League Africa (WBLA) main season.
